The main entertainment in Hatta is an off-road trip to wadi. 20 km away from Hatta village, there are mountain Hatta pools with crystal-clear water, that stays cold all the year round. The road to the village repeatedly crosses boarders between the Emirates of Dubai and Ajman and the Sultanate of Oman. At the pass there is a market for synthetic carpets and hand-made products such as clay jugs, candlesticks and incense burners.
